An Easter Challenge

CAUSING RESURRECTIONS

Do you cause resurrections in the lives of others?
Do you consciously and deliberately help other people come alive? Live more fully?
Do you share your awareness of the beauty and mystery of life in this world with others that they might come alive to what they seldom notice or usually take for granted?
Do you share with others your enthusiasm for living, for seeing everything as a challenge, for enjoying the smallest gesture of friendship as the greatest gift from God?
Do you help people live more lively lives by sharing with them your wonder at the fact that there is life at all? That life is a daily gift? A daily challenge?
Have you developed your own awareness, enthusiasm, wonder enough that you can share them with others, causing others to rise from the tomb of apathy into a new, exciting, joyous, exhilarating way of living?
So many people are buried in ruts waiting for you to cause their resurrection.
You cannot give what you do not have. You can cause resurrections in the lives of those around you only if you have risen to a new plane of enthusiastic appreciation for life.
The risen Lord dwelling within you, shares his resurrection power with you and you in turn share it with others. This is what it means to be fully human. To be sensitively interpersonal.
Why not resolve today to cause a resurrection in one other person’s life that that person may cause a resurrection in one other person’s life?
